Science behind you'll do daily

Everything in the universe happens for a reason, and science is man's way of explaining why these things happen. While science cannot PROVE everything, it CAN make educated theories, based on similar scientific studies, as to why things occur. 10 interesting space facts

Space facts   Full exploration of the planets: Scientists have been exploring space for over 60 years and the effort has been certainly paid off all the planets. They almost know about every planet including the dwarf planets (Pluto and ceres). Most of the exploration's were done by NASA'S Voyager program which started in 1977. Vouager 1 and 2 collected the information's of planets and moons. Giant Water Reservoir: In 2011 astronauts discovered the giant water reservoir simply floating in space around a super massive black hole called quasar. Water vapour's are found throughout the universe, but this particular reservoirs holds 140 trillion times more as water in earth's ocean. But it is 12 billion light years away from the earth. Sound in Space: Sounds are produced by vibrating the air molecules in the Earth. But in the other planets sounds travel through the moon, but in  space there is Nothing. There is only Vaccum, but scientists believe space has some gas cl...

Titanoba

Titanoboa      Titanoboa is an extinct genus of very large snakes that lived in what is now La Guajira in northeastern Colombia. They could grow up to 12.8 m long and reach a weight of 1,135 kg. Fossils of Titanoboa have been found in the Cerrejón Formation, and date to around 58 to 60 million years ago       Jason Bourque, a student at the University of Florida, was the first one that realized it was a snake; we had thought it was a crocodile because of its size. One would think that open-pit coal mining would destroy fossils.        Titanoboa  was first described in 2009, some five years after it was excavated from rocks exposed at the Cerrejón coal mine in Colombia, which lies to the west of the mouth of Lake Maracaibo. The remains of approximately 30 individuals have been recovered. The majority  are  adults, but some juveniles have been found.      Using the length-weight ratios of a rock python...

Technology

The best definition of technology is the study and transformation of techniques, tools, and machines created by humans. Technology allows humans to study and evolve the physical elements that are present in their lives, the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science.     Types of Technology          1) Network 2) Information 3) Internet of Things 4) Sensors 5) Energy 6) Transportation 7) Architectural 8) Agriculture 9) Entertainment and Media 10) Industrial 11) Medical Technology 12) Clothing technology 13) Science 14) Assistive Technology 15) Robotics 16) Space 17) Artificial Intelligence         Advantages of technology           Sharing ...

5 Rare species of birds in the world

Rare species are species with small populations. Many move into the endangered or vulnerable category if the negative factors affecting them continue to operate.      Scientists estimate that 150-200 species of plant, insect, bird and mammal become extinct every 24 hours. This is nearly 1,000 times the “natural” or “background” rate and, say many biologists, is greater than anything the world has experienced since the vanishing of the dinosaurs nearly 65m years ago. KAKAPO          The kakapo, also called owl parrot, is a species of large, flightless, nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrot of the super-family Strigopoidea, endemic to New Zealand. It has finely blotched yellow-green plumage, a distinct facial disc, a large grey beak, short legs, large feet, and relatively short wings and tail. The kakapo is critically endangered; the total know...

Types of lions

There are various sub species on lion according to their appearance. Barbary lions                   The Barbary lion was a panthera leo leo, their population in North Africa that is regionally extinct today. This population accrued in Barbary coastal regions of Megrabh from the Atlas mountain  to Egypt. The only Barbaty lions left in the world are in the zoo. Barbary lion is the biggest lion of all. Its length ranging between 9.8 feet and 10.8 feet and weigh of over 200 kg. West African lion                    West African lions are a critically endangered lions with an estimated 400 remaining and strong evidence of ongoing declines. About 90% of these lions live in west Africa's largest protect are...

5 Facts to extend your phone battery life

Cool 5  Facts to extend your phone's battery life         There is a lot of way to extend your phone's battery life D on't let the charge runout:  Modern batteries are made up of lithium. It is designed to empty between 300  to 500 recharge cycles, depending on the model keeping your device charged will extend those 500 cycles over a long period    Lower bright and screen timeout: Your phone screen use more battery than other. Lowering your phone's brightness can go a long way toward extending its charge. You should also turn off Adaptive or automatic brightness, Because constant change in intensity can drain a lot of power. Avoid fast charging: In many mobiles they will charged in minutes instead of hours. It seems to be good, did you know that you are shortening your battery life whenever using fast charging? Batteries work by using electricity to cause a chemical reaction inside the battery itself. Charging too quickly it makes battery les...

1st Nobel prize for physics

The first man to receive Nobel price for physics     1.  Wilhem C. Rontagen                     Wilhem conrad rontagen was a German mechanical engineer and physicist who, on 8 November 1895, produced and detected electromagnetic radiation in a wavelength range known as x-rays or Rontagen Ray's                He born in the big trade family and he was excellent in his studies. In his 16th age he joined in the Apprenticeship study. In 1865 he joined in the university for learning physics and he done Master degree in "University of Zurich ".            He do research on Crystal's and marble products and he also do research on how the electromagnetic heats are changing due to give pressure on gases and liquids.         Later, Rontagon do research about the cathode ray on that time he detect another ray is also exposure. He applied that R...

Frog facts

Frog facts There are approximately 6,000 species of frog worldwide. Thirty species of frogs breed in Florida; 27 are native and 3 are non-native. Have a unique body design; long, powerful rear legs for jumping, short backbone, and large head with a wide mouth Lay eggs in water, which turn into tadpoles and eventually transform into an adult frog. Male frogs croak to attract females. Depending on the species, breeding takes place at different times of the year. All toads and frogs are in the same order (Anura).  A toad is a type of frog which lays eggs in long strands and other frogs lay eggs one at a time or in clumps. You cannot get warts from touching a toad or frog.  That is just a myth. Frogs benefit natural ecosystems and humans by consuming insect pests and serve as predators and prey. Many of Florida’s native frogs are common in “florida-friendly” residential areas. Frog populations have been declining, and some have even gone extinct due to disease, habitat loss, envir...

Ultrasound detector

World's smallest ultrasound detector          S cientists have developed the world's smallest ultrasound detector, which is 100 times tinier than an average human hair, nad can visualize features that are much smaller than previously possible, an advance that may lead to better ways of studying ultra fi e details in tissues and materials.             According to the researchers from the German research center for Environmental health, the core detection technology for these very low frequency sound waves  has for decades focused on using piezoelectric detectors which convert the pressure from sound waves into electrical voltage. They said imaging resolution archive using this process depend on the size of the piezoelectric detector employed, with with reduction in size leading to higher resolution .             In the new innovation, dubbed the silicon waveguide talon detector,or SWED and des...
